If you try to launch either JDLab2you or JD Pick-a-Pack and you see the error message “Could not create the Java Virtual Machine,” this is due to recent updates in the ordering software.

To fix the problem, follow these steps:

1. Delete your JDLab2You and JD Pick-a-Pack desktop icons. You will not lose any current or saved orders.

2. Click here to reinstall JDLab2YouClick here to reinstall Pick-a-Pack.

3. Follow the prompts to complete installation.

A new icon will be placed on your desktop. Use this new icon to re-start the software. In  most cases this fix will make the programs much faster, and reduce  Java “out of memory” errors on large orders.

Windows 7 (64) bit Users:

Studios who are currently running Windows 7 (64) bit will not get the error described and do not need to download the new version.

If you are running Windows 7 (64) bit and you do the update anyway, you will get an error “configuration system failed to initialize.” PLEASE call us at 810-239-8671 for further instructions – reinstalling on your own without contacting us first will cause you to lost all saved orders, templates and packages that you may have created.
